Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions that change shed demolition and removal planning.

Can a shed be removed with contents inside?

List and photograph contents separately. Hazardous or restricted material cannot be assumed accepted, and personal property should be removed before demolition.

How is price determined?

Size, material, stability, contents, connections, foundation, access, carry distance, loading, disposal weight, and the requested finish all affect the estimate.

Can the slab stay?

Yes, when the agreed scope is shed-only. If the pad should leave, measure it and identify thickness, reinforcement, utilities, drainage, and desired finish.

Do permits matter?

Yes. The City of Tucson currently says exterior demolition requires a permit. Other municipalities and unincorporated Pima County may use different processes.

Can utilities be disconnected during demolition?

Do not assume it. Active electrical, plumbing, gas, or other systems should be handled by the appropriate qualified trade and documented before work.

What happens to debris?

Ordinary accepted material is loaded and directed to an appropriate facility under the confirmed job scope. Specific recycling, reuse, or donation outcomes are not guaranteed.

Ready to clear the old structure?
